Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mei in the 25th minute of play. Charles de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Mei, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Perez in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Carlos Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack got control of the ball when Cauan Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alessandro Araújo hit a great ball. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Mihăiţă Stolniceanu was substituted for Ferdinand Zmărăndache. Lyle Coppack came out of the goal and Otto Fesik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
