Carlos Mei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Máximo Azeredo made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Carlos Mei sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Máximo Azeredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye White Eagles FC's goalie prevented a goal. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after White Eagles FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ediberto de Queirós took the corner. The corner ended in Ediberto de Queirós almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Buckley in the 13th minute of play forced Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Lyle Coppack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Mei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Máximo Azeredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute of the match Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a corner. White Eagles FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ediberto de Queirós ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Buckley in the 22nd minute of play. Matty Robson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Lyle Coppack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Eagles FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Eyre in the 25th minute of play forced Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Lyle Coppack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Matty Robson came free, but Lyle Coppack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of White Eagles FC booed when Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Fábio Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Cartwright, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Fábio Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, White Eagles FC's Jeffrey Barratt got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gez Eyre to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Carlos Mei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Azeredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Máximo Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Mei in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Carlos Mei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Olly Shaw was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. White Eagles FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely the free kick. A collision led to White Eagles FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Olly Shaw hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Mei came free, but Máximo Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, White Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gez Eyre to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Carlos Mei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Mei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Azeredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mei in the 68th minute of play. Fábio Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Azeredo having to interfere. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely made a substitution. Mihăiţă Stolniceanu replaced Ferdinand Zmărăndache. The audience was convinced that Carlos Mei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Máximo Azeredo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Carlos Mei sped through White Eagles FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Máximo Azeredo. Carlos Mei took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máximo Azeredo. Máximo Azeredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 86th minute, Carlos Mei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Azeredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Carlos Mei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeffrey Barratt's late challenge caught a Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffrey Barratt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, White Eagles FC's Jeffrey Barratt got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely had won after a very even match.
