In the 12th match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Romino to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Romino in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Ruiz Tagle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Antonio Romino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Göktürk Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Brett, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

AYYILDIZ's Göktürk Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Frasquito in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Kalle Hellkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göktürk Semin. AYYILDIZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kalle Hellkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Antonio Romino struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Inocencio Ruiz Tagle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AYYILDIZ.
