After a defensive mix-up in Golden Lions FC's zone, Laureano Cresenciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Lundqvist came out of the goal and Laureano Cresenciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Zberea in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Cresenciano got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chi Tzalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebben Johansson in the 15th minute of play. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. Anders Lundqvist was a little too slow when Caetano Messias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Olteanu in the 19th minute of play. Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chi Tzalov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loco Durazno's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Chi Tzalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Durazno struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Chi Tzalov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. 31 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Messias. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Aron Olteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anders Lundqvist made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Aron Olteanu sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Durazno in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chi Tzalov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Zberea in the 40th minute of play. Claudiu Cârțan's late challenge caught a Golden Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudiu Cârțan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, one of FC BaLiSt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC BaLiSt. The referee gave Golden Lions FC a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bebben Johansson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov. 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Messias. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loco Durazno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Cârțan to maneuver through the defense. Bebben Johansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chi Tzalov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Chi Tzalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Efe Topdemir in the 78th minute of play forced FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Chi Tzalov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that İbrahim Efe Topdemir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chi Tzalov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Burnei didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Yang Wei replaced Caetano Messias. FC BaLiSt's Eugen Braniște was substituted for Pascual Colon. Chi Tzalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Efe Topdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Nanu in the 85th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yang Wei in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Joakim Haegg hit a great ball. Golden Lions FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
