Boris Marsac took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gianluca Buffon. Nevşehirspor's Cankut Koytak managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rešo Orte in the 27 minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Rıdvan Kurushov made a precise shot to the right of Anthon Karlsson. Galapagos Islands FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rešo Orte made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Özgün Hatip however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgün Hatip in the 43rd minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluca Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgün Hatip in the 46th minute of the match.

Nevşehirspor's Ragnar Åberg was substituted for Cipriano Proença. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özgün Hatip to strike the kick off in the second half. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Ragnar Åberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anthon Karlsson. Ragnar Åberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 82nd match minute, Galapagos Islands FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Åström to maneuver through the defense. Nevşehirspor's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgün Hatip in the 85th minute of play.
