When Özgün Hatip came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Galapagos Islands FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özgün Hatip couldn't finish the play. Trescientos made a substitution. Unai Pineros replaced Burbano Dios. Anthon Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Llorenc in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Oscar Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 96 in the game by Özgün Hatip from a close distance when the talented Pang Shi Bang managed to make a qualified save. Trescientos's players were relieved.
