The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilmar Pereira got free with Blas Hulberto in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th play minute Nilmar Pereira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Blas Hulberto. 1-5. Jataiense Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
