Nestor Carioca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyler Woodcock in the 6th minute. Nestor Carioca made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Sylwester Zima sent off a good shot on target. Barrenta SC were furious when Umberto Trigo was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 9th minute, one of Barrenta SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barrenta SC. In the 17thth minute of the game Sylwester Zima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Tyler Woodcock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LIVERPOOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyler Woodcock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Nestor Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylwester Zima. After having played for 23 minutes, Luiz Fábio Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrenta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Adam Cornell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Sylwester Zima lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Nestor Carioca. In the 35th minute Luiz Fábio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrenta SC's Nestor Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Higgins in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Víktor Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrenta SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC LIVERPOOL the free kick. A collision led to FC LIVERPOOL getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gino Araújo hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, Barrenta SC's Luiz Fábio Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Thompson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrenta SC reached it. 68 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Zima came free, but Nestor Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Woodcock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fábio Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Thompson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nestor Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Zima in the 76th minute of the match. Tyler Woodcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tyler Woodcock came free, but Nestor Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Donato to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Lima in the 86th minute of play. FC LIVERPOOL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
