Cristiano Cigaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esquadrão Lusitano's Rui Sá was substituted for Cândido Machado. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sá in the 91st minute of play. Rui Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Armando Polidori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Esquadrão Lusitano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than XMAS.
