After a defensive mix-up in Scorpions -MM-'s zone, Marco Jareño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Zenga came out of the goal and Marco Jareño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Tato Feria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute La Mora CAT were awarded a corner. Martin Suy went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Martin Suy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Walter Zenga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. La Mora CAT's Breixo Torrent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Ţintă in the 14th minute of play. Walter Zenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Lama in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Mora CAT's zone, Costel Ţintă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breixo Torrent came out of the goal and Costel Ţintă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Traian Uzuneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Breixo Torrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of La Mora CAT booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Câmpeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Vătăşel in the 31st minute of play forced La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Breixo Torrent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Mora CAT getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Claudio Lama hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Augustin Vergulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breixo Torrent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Vergulescu came free, but Breixo Torrent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paata Zabelin charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paata Zabelin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Paata Zabelin got a free kick in the 46th minute. Breixo Torrent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Ţintă in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Ţintă made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Traian Uzuneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Uzuneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Aron Câmpeanu. Walter Zenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pau Gasol's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Costel Ţintă notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of La Mora CAT's Breixo Torrent. Breixo Torrent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Nader Shehta got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djoto Londaridze in the 78th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pau Gasol in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Costel Ţintă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Breixo Torrent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Dan Tinu replaced Traian Uzuneanu. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Ferrer Alcaraz replaced Ferrer Ramirez. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Nabucodonosor Rallo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 96 minutes, Aristeo Alacuart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mora CAT and the Scorpions -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aristeo Alacuart kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Scorpions -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
