Nils Eklunds short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Donato Azeari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Donato Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Blom in the 54th minute of play. Donato Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Blas Osoro got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jim Kling charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Kling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Team Xtra personell getting a freekick after 87 minutes play.
