The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Vachon got free with Sabri Letailleur in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Defensores de Mar de Ajó booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Högman to maneuver through the defense. Sabri Letailleur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Herblay's Malik Carbonnel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Malik Carbonnel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Herblay protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Malik Carbonnel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Defensores de Mar de Ajó booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malik Carbonnel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rogelio Jaen came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Defensores de Mar de Ajó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Jaen couldn't finish the play. Michaël Seguela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Iago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Herblay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isaltino Gaúcho in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Isaltino Gaúcho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Benedicto Iago did a great save. If Batiste Botella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batiste Botella in the 26th minute of the match. Silverio Vachons short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Sabri Letailleur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silverio Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Lucas Ramone hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Isaltino Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Batiste Botella made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Dante Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Letailleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabri Letailleur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Jaen in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Vachon came free, but Sabri Letailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batiste Botella in the 61st minute of the match. In the 71st minute Rogelio Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Letailleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Defensores de Mar de Ajó booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christophe Beaulieu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Cipriano Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82ndth minute of the game Silverio Vachon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herblay's Sabri Letailleur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ledesma came free, but Sabri Letailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Ledesma took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Letailleur. Sabri Letailleur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 91 minutes into the match, Leo Ledesma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabri Letailleur. Herblay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Ledesma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herblay's goalkeeper Sabri Letailleur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herblay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
