Kai Schirmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Balevski in the 20th minute of play. Kai Schirmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genko Balevski went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tol Adas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Melquiades Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fura Balizas. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tol Adas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Hilário Fernandes's late challenge caught a CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilário Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. FC Fura Balizas's José Maria Freire managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ernani Barral in the 39 minute of the game. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tol Adas in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tol Adas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Hulk Fenomeno got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ernani Barral hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kai Schirmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genko Balevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's zone, Tol Adas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Amor came out of the goal and Tol Adas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tol Adas got free with Melquiades Amor in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tol Adas in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kai Schirmer came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edmundo Valle. But to his dismay, Edmundo Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. José Maria Freire was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Freire to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Edmundo Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai Schirmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Edmundo Valle hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by André Palmeira. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Homero Saraiva replaced Vivaldo Mota. In the 96th minute, Edmundo Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
