After 3 minutes of play, Momentum FC's Carlos Auzqui made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Trevisan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Willian Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Auzqui, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Marcelo Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Trevisan having to interfere. Willian Trevisan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Auzqui went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attentive Régis de Souza managed to snatch the ball when Julio Lluciano made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Carlos Auzqui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Carlos Auzqui came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Momentum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Auzqui couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitry Ilyushin came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Willian Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Auzqui in the 42nd minute of play. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Momentum FC were winning 0-2.

Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Carlos Alberto Dias replaced Claudinho Sá. The supporters of Momentum FC booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Pello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes Momentum FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Pello. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Duda Alves with Fabiano Abraão as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Humberto Pitta hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Agustin Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis de Souza in the 95th minute of the match. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Abraão in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Momentum FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
