When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kjell-Arne Skott sped through Academica Pulheim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Nölting. Edvin Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Schaffert in the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Bertil Harlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Ronnys Lärjungar's goal looked a bit too open when Jari Anzengruber came free, but Edvin Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Jimmy Pinder managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Roman Biehlert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvin Bruhn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel Schaffert went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Sten Hård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Jari Anzengruber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jari Anzengruber in the 35th minute of play forced Ronnys Lärjungar's goalkeeper Edvin Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Glanselius. Jari Anzengruber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jari Anzengruber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Edvin Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

51 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Skott came free, but Henry Nölting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Schaffert, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jari Anzengruber took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvin Bruhn. Academica Pulheim's Hannes Steckamp was substituted for Rando Max. After 85 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Steckamp. Academica Pulheim's Henry Nölting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Ahlrot in the 85th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Björk. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
