Tadeo Chuss short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Mateo Berriotxoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Esteban Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Berriotxoa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Tadeo Chus sent off a good shot on target. Gualterio Quilo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Honesto during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Raimundo Honesto got a free kick in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Ildefonso Lizbeth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Mejía narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Elorri in the 22nd minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Mejía to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Mejía showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gualterio Quilo scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Berriotxoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualterio Quilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mateo Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Maidana in the 35th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Mejía to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Quilo in the 36th minute of the match. Nicklas Füllkrug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Quilo came free, but Mateo Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Ildefonso Lizbeth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía didn't even have to move. LA LUZ F.C.'s Gaudencio Froila was substituted for Gualterio Quilo. LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Luís Artime replaced Patricio Sal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Maidana to make the kick off. Tadeo Elorri took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Mejía. Luís Mejía dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 61st minute Tata González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Elorri got free with Luís Mejía in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Mejía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Maidana in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Honesto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Froila in the 71st minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Mateo Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Tadeo Elorri got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Chus came free, but Mateo Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Ildefonso Lizbeth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. LA LUZ F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
