LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Giejda in the 14th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Robert Giejda lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Luís Mejía. After 25 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Sal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Giejda got free with Luís Mejía in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ale Kocur fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zjem Cię's protests and gave Ale Kocur a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Zjem Cię got a freekick which was hit by Ale Kocur. After some careless play in the Zjem Cię defense, Gualterio Quilo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roch Wawrukiewicz. The Zjem Cię fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roch Wawrukiewicz should have stopped the shot. Zjem Cię's Roch Wawrukiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Quilo in the 39th minute of play. When Gualterio Quilo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the LA LUZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Quilo couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Sal to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Gualterio Quilo made a precise shot to the right of Roch Wawrukiewicz. Zjem Cię's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. LA LUZ F.C.'s Benito Txeru was substituted for Arturo Mogel.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Giejda made a kick off. Eleuterio Taurino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Roch Wawrukiewicz made a huge save. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Luís Artime sped through Zjem Cię's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roch Wawrukiewicz. Zjem Cię's Roch Wawrukiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Zjem Cię from getting a goal against them. Luís Mejía showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ale Kocur, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zjem Cię's zone, Luís Artime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Wawrukiewicz came out of the goal and Luís Artime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roch Wawrukiewicz. Zjem Cię's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 79 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Quilo. When Robert Giejda came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Zjem Cię fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Giejda couldn't finish the play. Luís Mejía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Giejda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ale Kocur in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Mejía saved LA LUZ F.C. from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Celestino Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Taurino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Wawrukiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Zjem Cię booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Mejía showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Giejda, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. In the 98th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Quilo to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over LA LUZ F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zjem Cię throughout the match.
