The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Folke Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Soned, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Blom in the 16th minute of the match. Henrique Félix hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ulf Lindqvist lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 24 minutes into the game, one of BK Tåfjutt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olof Soned in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Österlund saved Catugi FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olof Soned in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Österlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Nando de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Henrique Félix got a free kick in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nando de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Folke Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Soned, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Falcão Paes's late challenge caught a BK Tåfjutt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folke Österlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BK Tåfjutt's Villiam Trillkott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando de Alcântara in the 69th minute of play.
