Dono Tanzier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Liverpool Fans's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Moscatelli came free, but Dono Tanzier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, A.S. Udinese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Scannella to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Moscatelli in the 21st minute of play forced Liverpool Fans's goalkeeper Dono Tanzier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Liverpool Fans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Barkawi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when Liverpool Fans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasyid Budiono didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Liverpool Fans's Fedele Schiacciacasse threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wahyu Papara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the match, Ermanno Moscatelli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Liverpool Fans's Dono Tanzier. Dono Tanzier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Ermanno Moscatelli got a free kick in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Maurito Tassotti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Udinese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool Fans the free kick. In the 40th minute, Chairil Birowo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Bagong Rumbewas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermanno Moscatelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fedele Schiacciacasse came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool Fans's Wahyu Papara. But to his dismay, Wahyu Papara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Liverpool Fans's goalkeeper Dono Tanzier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corrado Restaino. When Wahyu Papara came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Liverpool Fans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wahyu Papara couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Udinese's zone, Bagong Rumbewas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Schiacciacasse came out of the goal and Bagong Rumbewas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A.S. Udinese's Fedele Schiacciacasse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wahyu Papara in the 73rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Chairil Birowo with Rasyid Budiono as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ermanno Moscatelli took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dono Tanzier. Dono Tanzier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A.S. Udinese were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Liverpool Fans's much stronger midfield.
