But to his dismay, Elberg Azov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Durval Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elberg Azov, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to The Heren Istarion getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mitt Back hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 18th minute of play forced The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper Lukas Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Drewitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Britovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Heren Istarion's Lukas Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 22nd minute of play. Lukas Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Teles in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Roberto Biaggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Heren Istarion's Lukas Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Biaggio in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Teles in the 30th minute of play forced The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper Lukas Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Walmir Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lukas Drewitz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Britovskiy in the 31st minute of play forced The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper Lukas Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitt Back in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Rodrigo Garro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lukas Drewitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, The Heren Istarion's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Teles came free, but Lukas Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elberg Azov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durval Messias having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elberg Azov in the 42nd minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Durval Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Heren Istarion's Elberg Azov got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Garro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lukas Drewitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Biaggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Lukas Drewitz threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Biaggio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elberg Azov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Messias having to interfere. The Heren Istarion made a substitution. Torbjörn Josefsson replaced Khamzat Chimaev. The Heren Istarion's Lukas Drewitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save The Heren Istarion from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper Lukas Drewitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Britovskiy. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Garro got free with Lukas Drewitz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Durval Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christopher Öberg's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute of the match, Cacá Britovskiy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lukas Drewitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lukas Drewitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Garro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The Heren Istarion's Lukas Drewitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save The Heren Istarion from getting a goal against them.
