The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Pinti got free with Gazi Açıkgün in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Emanuele Di Biagio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seggiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuele Di Biagio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gazi Açıkgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdi Sökmensu in the 9th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Antonio Vinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Attilio La Penna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamdi Sökmensu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Vinci having to interfere. Gazi Açıkgün was a little too slow when Carlo Pinti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. With 19 minutes on the clock, Taci Oruz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of ÜSTEĞMEN FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Seggiano:s goal. ÜSTEĞMEN FK:s Gazi Açıkgün showed great skill when he stopped Attilio La Penna:s penalty. In the 21st minute Seggiano were awarded a corner. Federico Lauri went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Federico Lauri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ÜSTEĞMEN FK's Gazi Açıkgün did a great save. A collision led to ÜSTEĞMEN FK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nuralp Ehil hit a great ball. Emanuele Di Biagio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Gazi Açıkgün skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Di Biagio in the 31st minute of play forced ÜSTEĞMEN FK's goalkeeper Gazi Açıkgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuele Di Biagio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gazi Açıkgün. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, ÜSTEĞMEN FK's Arın Serkut got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Di Biagio in the 42nd minute of play forced ÜSTEĞMEN FK's goalkeeper Gazi Açıkgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, ÜSTEĞMEN FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mithat Yasin to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Carosella hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Arın Serkut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuele Di Biagio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gazi Açıkgün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Di Biagio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Vinci made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Arın Serkut sent off a good shot on target. Emanuele Di Biagio scored 3-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gazi Açıkgün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Seggiano's Emanuele Di Biagio in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gazi Açıkgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Di Biagio in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Seggiano's Attilio La Penna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gazi Açıkgün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
