The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Purcaresti CSS. Eusebiu Stancu charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebiu Stancu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Eusebiu Stancu got a free kick in the 12th minute. Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Horhoianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Horhoianu got control of the ball when Segundo Balendin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Purcaresti CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Honciu to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Ferdinand Horhoianu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Horhoianu got control of the ball when Segundo Balendin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdinand Horhoianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Balendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With his leg Ferdinand Horhoianu managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Vikingos FC's Honorato Aureo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the last second Ferdinand Horhoianu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Segundo Balendin in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ferdinand Horhoianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Balendin in the 35th minute of play. Ferdinand Horhoianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Balendin's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Balendin in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Horhoianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Paul Drăgan fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purcaresti CSS's protests and gave Paul Drăgan a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Segundo Balendin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Horhoianu was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Simon Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Ferdinand Horhoianu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikingos FC's Honorato Aureo. But to his dismay, Honorato Aureo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ferdinand Horhoianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Balendin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Ferdinand Horhoianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Gonzalo Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Horhoianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Stancu got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eusebiu Stancu hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
