Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruud Geels started the match with the kick off. Egil Sølve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Geels in the 5th minute of the match. Vagner Vennitze's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melvin Borgman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gunther Kjærbye kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Egil Sølve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Geels in the 15th minute of play. With his leg Melvin Borgman managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Holmkjar Hotspurs's Vagner Vennitze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Han Ostermann during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Han Ostermann hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Melvin Borgman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Bjarkmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Geels in the 28th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Egil Sølve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vagner Vennitze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Melvin Borgman made a huge save. After 31 minutes Verwachting's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oluf Ankerbøl who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Oluf Ankerbøl got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melvin Borgman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Loui Bargmann kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Melvin Borgman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Melvin Borgman came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Bjarkmann. But to his dismay, Kalle Bjarkmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 38 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Holger Korst. Kalle Bjarkmann was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Oluf Ankerbøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Egil Sølve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Ostermann in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Verwachting were awarded a corner. Han Ostermann went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalie and right to Wilco Kosterman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kalle Bjarkmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Kalle Bjarkmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verwachting's Melvin Borgman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vagner Vennitze in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melvin Borgman saved Verwachting from getting behind. Vagner Vennitze struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Melvin Borgman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmkjar Hotspurs. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Han Ostermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Oluf Ankerbøl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melvin Borgman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Holmkjar Hotspurs reached it. Holmkjar Hotspurs were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Verwachting's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oluf Ankerbøl took the corner. After taking down the ball on Holmkjar Hotspurs's corner Oluf Ankerbøl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Melvin Borgman quite easily take care of the ball. Melvin Borgman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vagner Vennitze, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Pablo Heitmann was substituted for Tim Sundbæk. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Timmi Bantz was substituted for Holger Korst. Kalle Bjarkmann hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Han Ostermann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Egil Sølve when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Egil Sølve didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Verwachting's Han Ostermann shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Vagner Vennitze got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kalle Bjarkmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Melvin Borgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrik Hoekstra hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Verwachting's Melvin Borgman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oluf Ankerbøl in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ruud Geels managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verwachting's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruud Geels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Sølve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik Hoekstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oluf Ankerbøl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melvin Borgman. Verwachting's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Morthen Helmi made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Verwachting's Ruud Geels. Holmkjar Hotspurs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
