The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wang Shu Sheng. After having played for 13 minutes, Giga Mønster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giga Mønster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivar Albohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kobe Van Cleijnenbreughel in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Giga Mønster made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Rea. Farafulla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Giga Mønster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michael Bredberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Rea having to make a save. 0-5 became the score in the 31st minute when Michael Bredberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Giga Mønster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giga Mønster in the 46th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Ercole Rea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Bredberg made a kick off. Giga Mønster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ercole Rea made a huge save. In the 53rd match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Aronsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Anfilogino Benvenuto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giga Mønster in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ercole Rea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 62 minutes on the clock, Augusto Tucci commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Strömsbro IF a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Michael Bredberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Farafulla FC's Ercole Rea. 0-7. Strömsbro IF's Isak Wenerdahl was substituted for André Enström. Börge Kristiansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Rea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Ercole Rea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Kobe Van Cleijnenbreughel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ivar Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börge Kristiansson scored 0-8 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Rea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börge Kristiansson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ercole Rea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Börge Kristiansson had several of the Farafulla FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Ercole Rea as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 91st minute, Börge Kristiansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Börge Kristiansson. After 97 minutes, Alvar Mellbad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strömsbro IF and the Farafulla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvar Mellbad hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the match was over Strömsbro IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Farafulla FC throughout the match.
