Gerardo Oinatz started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Bikendi scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Ilazki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Bikendi might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Ilazki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Bikendi ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki got control of the ball when Alfonso Bikendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celestino Curcio made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RB Chubut's Ezequiel Rutenio. Alfonso Bikendi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Benigno Ilazki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Bikendi in the 19th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Curcio during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celestino Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the game Celestino Curcio made a throw-in which Bernardo Benet played forward. Alfonso Bikendi might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Ilazki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Bikendi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Oinatz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Vassenius was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The RB Chubut fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 61st match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Curcio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Andrézinho Pelé's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Ilazki was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 72 minutes, Andrézinho Pelé made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benigno Ilazki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Pelé in the 76th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Celestino Curcio in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RB Chubut's Juan Sorin. In the 84th minute Andrézinho Pelé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ilazki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isaac Urtungo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Isaac Urtungo a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Ilazki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrézinho Pelé's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Andrézinho Pelé's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Ilazki was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Andrézinho Pelé scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Ilazki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Pelé cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benigno Ilazki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RB Chubut were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mainumby for a fine match.
