To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pontus Lövkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ilazki having to interfere. Benigno Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Lövkvist in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pontus Lövkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Ilazki was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, 程阳海 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Ilazki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Benigno Ilazki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Lövkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Mainumby made a substitution. Bernardo Benet replaced Isaac Urtungo.
