Pedro Dolcet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 26th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Tome to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Resto in the 30th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Dolcet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonardo Trancoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Pedro Dolcet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauan Rezende. In the 46th minute, Castanheiro SC's Eliézer da Silveira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauan Rezende to make the kick off. Loco De Remate's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Gutxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Túlio Aparecido got a free kick in the 71st minute. Pedro Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Eliézer da Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
