Luís Paulo Romero came out of the goal and Carmine Di Mascio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Victor de Salles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Concetto Uguccioni, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor de Salles in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Concetto Uguccioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Carmine Di Mascio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 26 in the game by Jonathan Fonseca from a close distance when the talented Concetto Uguccioni managed to make a qualified save. Bar Marconi United's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Flying Dutch's Paulo Renato Cordeiro got a free kick in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Grandis came free, but Luís Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Del Grosso kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Grandis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Grandis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Flying Dutch's Victor de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Fonseca in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 73rd minute, Victor de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Concetto Uguccioni. Bar Marconi United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 78th minute, Carmine Di Mascio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero didn't even have to move. Rafa Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Rafa Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victor de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmine Di Mascio got free with Luís Paulo Romero in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Bar Marconi United were awarded a corner. Carmine Di Mascio went to the cornerflag to take it. Luís Paulo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Conti in the 92nd minute of play. Jonathan Fonseca's late challenge caught a Bar Marconi United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Fonseca hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
