The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noah Eriksson in the 7th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Anfilogino Di Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Dino Saurø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åke Wenerdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Wenerdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Hummerfiskarna got a freekick which was hit by Åke Wenerdahl. Noah Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Noah Eriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anfilogino Di Santo having to make a save. Anfilogino Di Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Eriksson in the 16th minute of the match. Dennis Berardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gottfrid Kullander made a huge save. Anfilogino Di Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noah Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, Hummerfiskarna's Noah Eriksson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anfilogino Di Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Alfonso Aloisi took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gottfrid Kullander to make any attempt to save it. Noah Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anfilogino Di Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noah Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anfilogino Di Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Palmquist went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Jonatan Smedfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Allan Biörling notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Valdieri's Anfilogino Di Santo. Anfilogino Di Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 48 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Gottfrid Kullander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Berardo. After the first half Hummerfiskarna were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Biörling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noah Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Gottfrid Kullander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Morandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Åke Wenerdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rasmus Månsson during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rasmus Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Dennis Berardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gottfrid Kullander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Anfilogino Di Santo stood somewhat misplaced when Allan Biörling came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 65 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Biörling in the 70th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Anfilogino Di Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Noah Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Hummerfiskarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noah Eriksson couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noah Eriksson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anfilogino Di Santo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gottfrid Kullander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Aloisi in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Hummerfiskarna's Allan Biörling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anfilogino Di Santo. Anfilogino Di Santo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. In the 83rd match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Berardo to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Di Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noah Eriksson in the 91st minute. The supporters of Valdieri booed when Hummerfiskarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Wenerdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Valdieri's Dennis Berardo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Valdieri lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
