The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmund Pietrowski charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, KS Zgredy's Edmund Pietrowski got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Sawino SA's Wit Drab got control of the ball when Roch Sroka tried to sneak it across the goal line. KS Zgredy were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Sawino SA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olgierd Rozanski took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Roch Sroka managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 17 minutes, Iwo Laba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Zgredy and the Sawino SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iwo Laba hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sawino SA getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tomasz Gollob hit a great ball. Wit Drab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Sroka, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, KS Zgredy's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Gonza came free, but Gilbert Treppa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 朱悦迅 in the 27th minute of play forced KS Zgredy's goalkeeper Gilbert Treppa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, 朱悦迅 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sawino SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Sawino SA's Ladislao Gonza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Treppa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ziemowit Labus kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, 朱悦迅 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Treppa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Sawino SA were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

56 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Labus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Zgredy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sawino SA the free kick. In the 56th minute, Ziemowit Labus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Treppa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 朱悦迅, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ladislao Gonza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Treppa having to make a save. The supporters of Sawino SA booed when KS Zgredy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Labus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobiasz Chowaniec's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilbert Treppa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ziemowit Labus hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Tobiasz Chowaniec shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilbert Treppa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sawino SA's 朱悦迅 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilbert Treppa. That made the score 0-5 after 75 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, KS Zgredy's Radomil Radziszewski got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Ladislao Gonza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert Treppa. KS Zgredy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Gonza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Radomil Radziszewski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes KS Zgredy got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Radziszewski. 84 minutes into the match, KS Zgredy's goalkeeper Gilbert Treppa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Kajdasz. Oskar Gollobs short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Gilbert Treppa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 92 minutes into the game, Sawino SA's Ladislao Gonza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Treppa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. KS Zgredy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tobiasz Chowaniec 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8.
