Tiburcio Longa's late challenge caught a Sawino SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Longa helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Longa. Vinicio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Chowaniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Wit Drab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sawino SA's Wit Drab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Sawino SA from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Sawino SA getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fabian Piglowski hit a great ball. Santa Luis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Wit Drab made a huge save. Danilo Uhin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With an all-out effort, Sawino SA's Vinicio Bidari threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Piglowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Chowaniec in the 53rd minute of play. A hard, long distance shot from Danilo Uhin flew over the goal. With a little luck, The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari got control of the ball when Ladislao Gonza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinicio Bidari made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fabian Piglowski sent off a good shot on target.
