He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Teodelina FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 18th minute, Leon Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Ioritz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Fillol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Ioritz in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leon Bonifaco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Lekubegi was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Teodelina FC's Leon Bonifaco got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dionisio Oton made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Teodelina FC's Carlos Guipuzkoa. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Oscar Ruggeri put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Oscar Ruggeri hit a great ball. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Oton in the 39th minute of play. Teodelina FC's Ubaldo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Ioritz in the 43rd minute of play. The Teodelina FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palermo were winning 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Nereo Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Santos Ioritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Ioritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Teodelina FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leon Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodelina FC's Ubaldo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Ioritz in the 63rd minute of play. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Bonifaco in the 67th minute of the match. Abel Frans hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Santos Ioritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Fillol made a huge save. Valentin Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Oscar Eguen got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jonatan Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teodelina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Maidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Rayman during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Palermo booed when Teodelina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Gaufred might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Fillol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Gaufred ran back to his position shaking his head. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Eutor in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Leon Bonifaco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Lekubegi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Teodelina FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Nicanor Gaufred scored to the left of an out of position Ubaldo Fillol, making the score, 1-2.
