In the 5th minute, Kader Miguet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cats and dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Igor Psotka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cats and dogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcampeón FC the free kick. In the 9th minute, Igor Psotka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Pierre Fevre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec didn't even have to move. 12 minutes into the game, Kader Miguet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Apolo Larrañaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kader Miguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Apolo Larrañaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Cats and dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Jérémie to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Gaétan Toullec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanio Lezaeta. Talcampeón FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre Fevre in the 23rd minute. Talcampeón FC's Pierre Fevre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaétan Toullec in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kader Miguet in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Larrañaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Kader Miguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Larrañaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kader Miguet in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Larrañaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Rainerio Huidobro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaétan Toullec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ángel Soruco to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Larrañaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kader Miguet went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rainerio Huidobro to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainerio Huidobro in the 51st minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Gaétan Toullec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Montaigne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Apolo Larrañaga made a huge save. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talcampeón FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christophe Montaigne was slow to take the kick. During this time Cats and dogs's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Christophe Montaigne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga did a great save. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Tony Jérémie sped through Talcampeón FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Apolo Larrañaga. 59 minutes in the game Bonifacio Lavanderos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Andrés Villaseñor. In the 61st minute, Christophe Montaigne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Bernardino Payten suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Pascal Herrmann during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Talcampeón FC's Rutenio Poveda was substituted for Bernardino Payten. In the 65th minute, Jean-Pascal Herrmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Kader Miguet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cats and dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kader Miguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kader Miguet in the 71st minute of play. Gaétan Toullec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés Villaseñor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kader Miguet scored 0-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Larrañaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Christophe Montaigne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Chaubet during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Christophe Montaigne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Cats and dogs's Kader Miguet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Larrañaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Cats and dogs's attentive Jean-Pascal Herrmann managed to snatch the ball when Bonifacio Lavanderos made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Christophe Montaigne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cats and dogs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
