The Plebeyos fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Plebeyos's Romulo Grabiel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th minute, Kader Miguet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damaso Truylos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Vistruario in the 20th minute of play. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Abalos in the 40th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cats and dogs's Damaso Truylos threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tony Jérémie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kader Miguet's late challenge caught a Plebeyos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kader Miguet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Plebeyos booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kader Miguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaétan Toullec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Eguen in the 46th minute of play. Primitivo Eguen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christophe Montaigne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cats and dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kader Miguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Christophe Montaigne hit a great ball. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cats and dogs from getting a goal against them. With 93 minutes on the clock, Augustin Boulnois commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gaétan Toullec had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Primitivo Eguen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Jean-Pascal Herrmann got a free kick in the 96th minute.
