Benjamin Gimeno got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zadornin Silva. The supporters of MIT booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iyan Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tome Campoamor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Chilian, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Marcu Voitiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tome Campoamor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tome Campoamor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Voitiş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcu Voitiş took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tome Campoamor. Tome Campoamor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. VILLARREAL UNITED:s Tome Campoamor showed great skill when he stopped Remus Chilian:s penalty. In the 28th minute, Petre Prislop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tome Campoamor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Voitiş in the 31st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Marcu Voitiş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tome Campoamor. VILLARREAL UNITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcu Voitiş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 45 minutes into the game, Isidoro Mangas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VILLARREAL UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. In the 45th match minute, VILLARREAL UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Mangas to maneuver through the defense. VILLARREAL UNITED's Tome Campoamor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Voitiş in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Mangas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Marcu Voitiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tome Campoamor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tsubasa Ozora scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Gorgan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Marcu Voitiş came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Voitiş couldn't finish the play. VILLARREAL UNITED's Tome Campoamor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Voitiş in the 64th minute of play. Marcu Voitiş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tome Campoamor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. When MIT's Marcu Voitiş in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in MIT's zone, Amado Morcego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Gorgan came out of the goal and Amado Morcego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MIT's Grigore Rizescu was substituted for Lucian Mangra. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebiu Siniştean during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusebiu Siniştean hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Morcego in the 84th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Gigel Gorgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcu Voitiş might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tome Campoamor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcu Voitiş ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigel Gorgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tsubasa Ozora in the 93rd minute of play. Gigel Gorgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tsubasa Ozora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The MIT supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MIT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
