When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Maurizio Brink took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ramiro Erasto to make any attempt to save it. Sandu Alexa had several of the Los Muchachos del 86's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ramiro Erasto as he didn't even see the shot coming. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erkan Fostiropoulos was the one to do the kick off. Pastor Botello hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Sandu Alexa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ramiro Erasto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62ndth minute of the game Erkan Fostiropoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 81st match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunther Schößler to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Gaizko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Sandu Alexa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maurizio Brink made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Erasto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91stth minute of the game Sandu Alexa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ebbo Böse charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ebbo Böse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebbo Böse didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Rot-Weiss-Essen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
