With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eufemio Zubizarreta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eufemio Zubizarreta. Eufemio Zubizarreta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eufemio Zubizarreta having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 29th minute of play forced C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Eufemio Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eufemio Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sataporn Snabl in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero De Pedro to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Antero De Pedro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Antero De Pedro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Eufemio Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sataporn Snabl to make the kick off. The supporters of KIA KAHA booed when C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paquito Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eufemio Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Lind in the 68th minute of play. Eufemio Zubizarreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Nicklas Smitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Eufemio Zubizarreta made a huge save. Eufemio Zubizarreta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Glanselius went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Salvador Palanques hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the game Salvador Palanques made a throw-in which Ponce Delgado played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Glanselius in the 95th minute of play forced C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Eufemio Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KIA KAHA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
