The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimír Kuthan got free with Jerzy Dudek in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimír Kuthan in the 9th minute of play forced Rembertów DJs's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rembertów DJs's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Sjö in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute Aleksander Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Ryback came free, but Tom Colling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Fågelmara IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Säf to maneuver through the defense. Tomasz Ryback struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tom Colling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rembertów DJs. In the 27th match minute, Rembertów DJs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Barycz to maneuver through the defense. Kazimír Kuthan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jerzy Dudek made a huge save. When Fågelmara IK's Kazimír Kuthan in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rembertów DJs's goalie prevented a goal. Witold Lepucki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jerzy Dudek made a huge save. Fabinho Coutinho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rembertów DJs booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Tomasz Ryback shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Colling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Motiejus Bilota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jerzy Dudek made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodor Sagen in the 46th minute of play forced Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper Tom Colling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. D.J. Žaba was the one to do the kick off. Rembertów DJs's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimír Kuthan in the 52nd minute of play. Tom Colling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Yi Gang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Sjö in the 55th minute of play forced Rembertów DJs's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Fågelmara IK got a corner. Rembertów DJs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Witold Lepucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fågelmara IK's Witold Lepucki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jerzy Dudek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damazy Obuchowicz got free with Tom Colling in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Fågelmara IK's Alfons Siggesson in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rembertów DJs's goalie prevented a goal. If Damazy Obuchowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimír Kuthan in the 72nd minute of play forced Rembertów DJs's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Colling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Fujara in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, D.J. Žaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Fågelmara IK's Aleksander Sjö nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Dudek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvin Alström in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Dudek saved Rembertów DJs from getting behind. Kazimír Kuthan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Dudek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Fågelmara IK's Tom Colling got control of the ball when Damazy Obuchowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tom Colling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Fujara in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Rembertów DJs's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Siggesson came free, but Jerzy Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rembertów DJs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fågelmara IK.
