Marco van Basten in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 曲远城, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lúcio Cruz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. 郝阳弘 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serginho Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 郝阳弘 lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 23 played minutes 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部 got a freekick which was hit by 郝阳弘. In the 24th minute, Lúcio Cruz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Marco van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 曲远城 was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 曲远城 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 朱强城 hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lúcio Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's 曲远城 got control of the ball when Erasmo de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Marco van Basten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Marco van Basten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but 曲远城 made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 孙弘坚 to make the kick off. Erasmo de Godoi took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 曲远城. 曲远城 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Charles Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 曲远城 having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Mexhit Koçi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Marco van Basten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 77 minutes into the match, Marco van Basten notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of 『挑战者』山羊足球俱乐部's 曲远城. 曲远城 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Charles Eger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 曲远城 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 曲远城 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco van Basten in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Charles Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Jovens Democratas MZC were the better team. Jovens Democratas MZC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
