Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lino Madeo fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reconquistense FC's protests and gave Lino Madeo a yellow card for diving instead. Lino Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match, Fabiano Fiorentino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francisco Pelagius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Fiorentino got free with Francisco Pelagius in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Fabiano Fiorentino sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Francisco Pelagius managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when A.C. Patagonia's Fabiano Fiorentino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 22 minutes, Fausto Marrone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C. Patagonia and the Reconquistense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florian Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Francisco Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Fabiano Fiorentino sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Madeo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Moscatelli saved A.C. Patagonia from getting behind. Lino Madeo scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Moscatelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Madeo to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Fiorentino in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Fabiano Fiorentino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Pelagius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Anacleto Norino could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Florian Moscatelli however easily saved by the left post. After 57 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Di Livio. In the 60th minute, Clodoveo Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Fiorentino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the game, Angelo Di Livio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Dario Mancinelli replaced Angelo Di Livio. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Iker Ugutz got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Fiorentino came free, but Francisco Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Silvestre Joanes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reconquistense FC and the A.C. Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabiano Fiorentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Florian Moscatelli managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Reconquistense FC's Lino Madeo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Florian Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Ugutz in the 80th minute of play. Francisco Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Fiorentino in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Lucado came free, but Florian Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Fiorentino in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Pelagius saved Reconquistense FC from getting behind. The A.C. Patagonia players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
