Francisco Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Leo Iigo sent off a good shot on target. Leo Iigo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Madeo in the 11th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Theobald Manjon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Udo Nigula struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Francisco Pelagius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CE LAJEADENSE RS. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Iigo got free with Francisco Pelagius in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theobald Manjon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Madeo in the 21st minute of play. Leo Iigos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Francisco Pelagius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pires to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Iigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Francisco Pelagius made a huge save. In the 36th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Fărcășan to maneuver through the defense. Leo Iigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Francisco Pelagius made a huge save. Caetano Saad kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Francisco Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nigula in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Madeo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Chinto's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Chinto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Udo Nigula made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Pelagius. Reconquistense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Iigo in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Udo Nigula got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Theobald Manjon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Madeo. In the 70th minute, Leonel Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Ugutz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Theobald Manjon made a huge save. Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Iigo in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Nigula in the 79th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theobald Manjon came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Reconquistense FC's Anacleto Norino. But to his dismay, Anacleto Norino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Xiang in the 86th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner. Caetano Saad went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 89th minute, one of Reconquistense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reconquistense FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Udo Nigula in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Pelagius saved Reconquistense FC from getting behind. After 95 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Ely. CE LAJEADENSE RS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
