The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Cerilo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Erubiel Cerilo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ahmed Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Silvino in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Normando came free, but Ahmed Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Frechoso got free with Justo Dunixi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Cleto Frechoso put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Justo Dunixi. C. A. Potrero's Justo Dunixi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Potrero from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Normando came free, but Ahmed Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Silvino in the 40th minute of play. Honorato Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ahmed Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when CF Scalonetos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleto Frechoso made a kick off. Alejandro Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Dunixi having to interfere. If Lucio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Ahmed Long had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Silvino. Honorato Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ahmed Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Frechoso in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Honorato Normando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmed Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Ubelteso in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, C. A. Potrero's Marciano Ubelteso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmed Long. Ahmed Long yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Balesio during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Vicente Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmed Long showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. CF Scalonetos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though C. A. Potrero had controlled the match.
