With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard van den Eede in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monte Lobato saved Tasso FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Waldir Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer came out of the goal and Waldir Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. David Geers hit a great ball. Douwe Mos charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douwe Mos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the game, Nico Boschker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Underdogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tasso FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Nico Boschker got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Waldir Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Underdogs's Honorato Guter quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Caio Mendes, made in the 32nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gerard van den Eede managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard van den Eede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monte Lobato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Caio Mendes got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Hui Li in the 46th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tasso FC's Monte Lobato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Hui Li in the 48th minute of play.

Tasso FC's Severiano Torcato got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monte Lobato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Hui Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Tasso FC's Monte Lobato got control of the ball when Gerard van den Eede tried to sneak it across the goal line. Monte Lobato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard van den Eede went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's León Zambrano got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Brito Montemayor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tasso FC's Monte Lobato didn't even have to move. In the 69th minute, Richard Peppinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by David Geers. León Zambrano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Tasso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Gerard van den Eede scored to the left of an out of position Monte Lobato, making the score, 0-3. In the 83rd minute, The Underdogs's Thijs Brugmans seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thijs Brugmans the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Underdogs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thijs Brugmans had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of The Underdogs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tasso FC:s goal. If Chu Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Chu Tasso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Chu Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer came out of the goal and Chu Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juca Tasso in the 99th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Underdogs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
