After 2 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Brodel. In the 3rd minute of the match Eusébio Magalhães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Nascimento skillfully saved the ball. In the 5th minute Simão Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Bufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Magalhães's late challenge caught a Jenipapo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Eusébio Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Vale in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Vale got free with Arthur Bufi in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Simão Travassos. But to his dismay, Simão Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cacá Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jenipapo SC's protests and gave Cacá Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Cacá Brodel got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gwidon Cwojdak took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Nascimento. Donato Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cacá Brodel hit a great ball. Gwidon Cwojdak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Fernandão de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwidon Cwojdak struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Donato Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. 40 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luan Vale. In the 46th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Lopes to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chico de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Oscar do Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jenipapo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruzeiro Esporte Clube the free kick. Oscar do Vale hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Isidro Ferman hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Cwojdak came free, but Donato Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Félix came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gwidon Cwojdak during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Cwojdak. Douglas Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Simão Travassos. But to his dismay, Simão Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Chico de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Simão Travassos scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Bufi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Vale in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Travassos in the 93rd minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Marco Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jenipapo SC had played much better football throughout.
