Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Ziomkowski in the 6th minute of play. Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Llope in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Jacinto Fagondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Rose 1979 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Black Devils's Roman Jaizki got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Wiktor Ziomkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Black Devils's Wiktor Ziomkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Guillem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Wiktor Ziomkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiktor Ziomkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Ziomkowski in the 25th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Temel Reis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baldomero Guillem quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Roman Jaizki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Guillem came out of the goal and Roman Jaizki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Temel Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Baldomero Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Guillem came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Devils's Wiktor Ziomkowski. But to his dismay, Wiktor Ziomkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wiktor Ziomkowski made a kick off. Wiktor Ziomkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiktor Ziomkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Ziomkowski in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Guillem saved Black Rose 1979 from getting behind. Baldomero Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Ziomkowski in the 70th minute of play. Wiktor Ziomkowski struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Baldomero Guillem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Devils. Black Devils's Roman Jaizki quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gonza Montiel, made in the 88th minute of the game. After having played for 92 minutes, Roman Jaizki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Jaizki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Black Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Devils's Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Black Devils from getting a goal against them.
