In the 8th match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Baena to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Monte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serbülent Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vennancio Feyjo in the 13th minute of play. With 15 minutes on the clock, Ricky Martin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Ornopata booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzales Subijana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Ornopata getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Carnero Arramendia hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Urbez Naveros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornopata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbez Naveros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Alexandrino Gameiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ornopata's zone, Carlos José Opazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Laincera came out of the goal and Carlos José Opazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ornopata booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos José Opazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandrino Gameiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Laincera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Jaume Labarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Laincera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When William Enebro fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ornopata's protests and gave William Enebro a yellow card for diving instead. William Enebro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Carlos José Opazo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Alexandrino Gameiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Laincera was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandrino Gameiro to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Laincera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ornopata getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gonzales Subijana hit a great ball. Alexandrino Gameiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Laincera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carnero Arramendia in the 60th minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbez Naveros took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serbülent Baysan. Serbülent Baysan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jaume Labarca managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaume Labarca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 70th minute, Gonzales Subijana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Vennancio Feyjo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbez Naveros in the 81st minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karem Ghadhanfer hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jaume Labarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Eugenio Laincera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Anderlecht Huachipato would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
