The Roncourt fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Roncourt's Léon Cailleaux looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Ornopata's Vennancio Feyjo got a free kick in the 18th minute. With his leg Eugenio Laincera managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Roncourt's Léon Cailleaux fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugenio Laincera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Félicien Payan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Laincera having to interfere. Eugenio Laincera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léon Cailleaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carnero Arramendia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roncourt's Jean-Marc Kazmierczak was substituted for Léon Cailleaux. Eugenio Laincera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Félicien Payan went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Roncourt's Jean-Marc Kazmierczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Laincera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Urbez Naveros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Laincera having to make a save. 87 minutes into the match, Ornopata's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak came free, but Eugenio Laincera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pascal Lama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Roncourt had played much better football throughout.
