The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Corderall during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Corderall. In the 16th minute, Virgilio Corderall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Albuquerque was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ariel Tximitx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Luís Fabiano Freire elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when FLA MQ BRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Cavani in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Corderall in the 30th minute of play forced FLA MQ BRASIL's goalkeeper Gabriel Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter de Souza got free with Ariel Tximitx in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Lizardi in the 39th minute of play forced FLA MQ BRASIL's goalkeeper Gabriel Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Cavani in the 52nd minute of the match. Abuba Akotonon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolás Valentini in the 53rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Kévin Zenón managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dito Fantini's late challenge caught a Abuba Akotonon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dito Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 minutes, Gabriel Ostargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abuba Akotonon FC and the FLA MQ BRASIL players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gabriel Ostargi hit a great ball. Gabriel Albuquerque stood somewhat misplaced when Virgilio Corderall came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Miguel Merentiel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Corderall. Gabriel Albuquerque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentín Barco in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Marcelo Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Tximitx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FLA MQ BRASIL's Gabriel Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Cavani in the 94th minute of play. Gabriel Albuquerque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Exequiel Zeballos in the 95th minute. The FLA MQ BRASIL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Abuba Akotonon FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
