The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Selmo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Sundin in the 10th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Ariel Tximitx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Virgilio Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Byström came out of the goal and Virgilio Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Max Sundin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ariel Tximitx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stig Byström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Corderall in the 19th minute. Vermudo Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vermudo Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vermudo Ortiz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Stig Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentín Barco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Corderall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Corderall in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Byström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Merentiel came free, but Stig Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Valentín Barco came free, but Stig Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
