Tello AFC's Justino Kismi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dionisio Matia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dewa Dandy. In the 28th match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raja Arak to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Diego Balendin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tello AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Balendin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Balendin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Muttaqien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Diego Balendin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Muttaqien was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Balendin in the 44th minute of play forced BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Thomas Muttaqien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BuanaRaya's Kamarudin Duaramuri got a free kick in the 44th minute. The BuanaRaya players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tello AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dewa Dandy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BuanaRaya's Dewa Dandy got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dionisio Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewa Dandy, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Diego Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Muttaqien having to interfere. Diego Balendin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Thomas Muttaqien 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match, Justino Kismi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thomas Muttaqien was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the BuanaRaya defense, Justino Kismi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Muttaqien. The BuanaRaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Muttaqien should have stopped the shot. If Diego Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Diego Balendin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Muttaqien was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Diego Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Thomas Muttaqien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
